Generally speaking fine art images fall into four groups, which are usually classified by quality.
This list shows the classifications most widely recognized, starting with the lowest.
 Conventional LITHO OFFSET prints.
 High quality LIMITED EDITION prints.
GICLEE, the American term for high quality digital print.
RE-MASTERED ART, the Australian development which embraces the highest standards technically possible.
The products offered by Showcase Art here at “Art Show Now” are all produced as RE-MASTERED ART to the highest possible standard.
Each piece is produced on approval from the artist, and nothing is stockpiled in a warehouse, as is the case with normal printing.
Whilst owning an original piece of unique art-work from your favorite artist is wonderful, it is not always possible, not to mention affordable.
Some of the originals on display here would cost more than $500,000 whilst others may only be double the price of the Re-Mastered Art version.
RE-MASTERED ART ON CANVAS
There is only one source of Re-Mastered Art in Australia, but there are many digital print operators.
At this time Showcase Art is focused only on Re-Mastered work in order to supply a large range of image sizes.
Large images of fine art quality are rare. The decline in quality is quite sudden when the image produced much more than a metre wide.
The Re-Mastered Art system enables us to offer images, which are five metres wide and completely faithful to the original.
Re-Mastered Art canvas rendering are done with pigmented colourfast inks, and have a low gloss coating to best resemble the original.
This means you can hang large canvases without the need for glass, as the image is stable and can be cleaned.
The finished work is normally mounted on a stretcher ready to hang or ready to frame.
RE-MASTERED ART ON PAPER
Some works of art naturally look best on paper (Watercolour and charcoal drawings being good examples).
The Re-Mastering process is tuned so the rendering on paper is virtually a replica of the original.
Only cotton rage archival grade (300gsm) paper is used.
Paper productions are normally supplied as paper only, as there are so many framing options, which can best be left to the purchaser.
